Ronald Zdriluk is a 35 year resident of Winnipeg, Manitoba. His passion for art started 25 years ago as a collector of old Master paintings, in particular the works of the Ditch and Flemish still life painters. Ron'' natural artistic ability led him to take up a brush 15 years ago and a new passion was born. Through the study of the techniques, composition and style of the old Masters, he constantly strives toward the perfection of the Masters. His interest in historical painting started about 8 years ago when he entered and won and art design contest for the Festival du Voyageur in Winnipeg. For the next 8 years Ron concentrated solely on this era and as a result his work hangs in a number of private, corporate and public collections in Manitoba and Alberta. A recent trip to New York rekindled his passion for old Master still life paintings.
