Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Randy has spent most of his life drawing and painting. After high school Randy graduated from Grant McEwan Community College in Environmental Design. This led to a career in the advertising design world and the birth of his own design firm, "The Foundry" in 1993. It was at this time that Randy realized that art was his true calling. Growing up in Alberta and spending time in its rural and wilderness areas, has given Randy a passion for landscape. His work intense and seeks to express a landscape that is in constant motion and is almost overwhelming. Painting his dynamic and intense vision of the landscape has since become an integral part of his life.
