Art has been in Fleurette's soul since she was young. She discovered at a very early age her talents in sketching and painting, and experimented with charcoal and pastel drawing which she mastered in composition portrait, where she excels in capturing with sensibility one's attitude and emotion. Pierre Lanoie, from Quebec City has been an excellent teacher in this regard.
Experimenting with ink and watercolours, Fleurette created a very personal world which she caller her Romantic Sketches, where imagination and reality are blended together, making us travel from one era to the other. She now depicts in a very gestural manner in acrylic the very poetic world which fascinates her, to which she is drawn and she finds the inspiration leading her life. |
