Armand Coté was born in Saint-Sylvestre in the Lotbinière region, Quebec. A self-taught painter since 1974, he is a graphic illustrator by profession.
He graduated in Graphic Communication at the Studio 437 of Quebec, in 9172 and also in Visual arts Laval University in 1974. In 1978 he was granted by the Ministére des Affaires culturelles du Quebec and the first prize of "La porte est ouverte aux artistes" organized by the Mouvement des Caisses populaires Desjardins. Armand exhibits across Canada and has been collected both nationally and internationally. |
